Families are Connecting at Kol Ami!

Kol Ami offers a plethora of opportunities for families to get connected!  We are connecting to other families and Kol Ami members, to the Jewish community, to Jewish learning, and Jewish identity.  From Kids’ Shabbat to High Holiday Children’s Services; from toddler to teen, KOL AMI FAMILIES CONNECT, THRIVE, ENGAGE, and GROW.

HEBREW SCHOOL:  JEWISH CHILDREN’S EDUCATION PROGRAM (JCEP)

Our lay-taught Hebrew school, known as JCEP, provides our children with strong connections to Jewish identity, history, culture, and religion.  Please visit our JCEP page and email our ">coordinator for more information.

KIDS’ SHABBAT

Geared toward Pre-K thru 2nd grade kids, this immersive hour led by creative educator Ari Jacobson provides the building blocks for a basic knowledge of Shabbat worship and Jewish values in a joyful environment.  Andrea will lead Jewish songs, stories, and prayers.  Younger children are welcome to join in the fun; at noon, everyone is invited to join the main congregation for kiddush.

FAMILY SHABBAT DINNERS AND HOLIDAYS

Let go of the week with a relaxed and joyous Shabbat dinner oriented to Kol Ami families, several times a year.  Holidays at Kol Ami are aimed at engaging kids and families.  Make latkes at our Hanukkah party!  Test your skills at our Purim Carnival!   Make s’mores on Lag B’Omer!  We have Children’s Services on High Holidays, sukkah decorating and stories, dancing with the Torah on Simchat Torah, and other programs on Tu B’Shvat, Passover, and more.
